He owns the restaurant Maido, a gastronomic reference in Peru and one of the best restaurants in Latin America and the world. The reflection of the Japanese influence on the Peruvian gastronomy.The ingredients of both cultures complement each other, an honest cuisine with unique textures and flavors.




Astrid & Gastón by Gastón Acurio

He is a chef, writer, businessman and promoter of Peruvian gastronomy. In 2000, Astrid & Gastón opened a branch in Chile which is chosen, the best restaurant in that country. Chef Gastón Acurio’s restaurants are already in eleven cities and 27 locations abroad.
